- <p> After Jan. 20, David Letterman's writers will have to
- scour the Federal Staff Directory and select another
- semantically challenged Pat Sajak lookalike to pick on. The
- four-year DAN QUAYLE barbfest is coming to a close. So let the
- reverence begin! It's certainly well under way in the V.P.'s
- hometown of Huntington, Indiana. Slated to open there this
- summer: the Quayle Center and Museum, a whole building full of
- Veep notabilia gathered by the very real Dan Quayle
- Commemorative Foundation. Included in the collection will be
- Dan's allegedly sound elementary-school report cards, his Little
- League uniform and a chewed-up law-school diploma (teeth marks
- courtesy of family pooch Barnaby). As yet there are no plans for
- a special exhibit of Murphy Brown voodoo dolls.
